"Where ironcrosses grow" MC by Dismember
Article description
Founded in 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden, Dismember played a crucial role in the breakthrough of death metal. Their debut album 'Like An Ever Flowing Stream' from 1991 clearly demonstrated that Dismember was an uncompromising band, leading to their rise to cult status and quickly taking the scene by storm. Extensive Tours with bands like Death, Morbid Angel, and Cannibal Corpse showed that Dismember were a force to be reckoned with live, and their fanbase grew steadily. The band then released the 5-track EP 'Pieces' and embarked on another Tour, this time with Napalm Death and Obituary. They performed in front of thousands of fans across Europe, solidifying their status as one of the best live bands in the world. Dismember took a new direction and released their sixth studio album titled 'Where Ironcrosses Grow' in 2004, which sounds similar to 'Hate Campaign' and is heavily inspired by Iron Maiden and Autopsy.
