Since the release of their 2018 album 'Sonder,' TesseracT has reached new heights worldwide, Touring with bands like Bullet For My Valentine, Dream Theater, and Gojira in arenas. With their fifth studio album 'War Of Being,' TesseracT returns with a career highlight, which is their most conceptual, dynamic, and sonically complex work to date. The story revolves around an interdimensional journey of two characters (Ex & El) in The Strangeland, a world that reflects the socio-economic state of our own. Throughout its one-hour runtime, the band indulges its listeners with expansive atmosphere, passionate vocal performances by Daniel Tompkins, and heavy riffs on an atomic level. The band has long been an innovative force and proves with 'War Of Being' that they have become masters of a truly unique sound. The album kicks off with the dreamy 'Natural Disaster,' followed by the pendulum swing of 'Legion.' This thrusts us into the herculean title track - the 11-minute centerpiece of the album that ebbs and flows with precision and power. In combination with the captivating melodies of 'The Grey' or the raw honesty of 'Burden,' the band delivers their most passionate release yet - an album that excites and inspires. Acle Kahney, Daniel Tompkins, Amos Williams, Jay Postones, and James Monteith have truly created a phenomenal set of captivating, absorbing sounds. 'War Of Being' was recorded at Middle Farm Studios in the UK. The album was co-produced and produced by the band and Peter Miles (Dodie, Sylosis, Architects), along with his long-time collaborator Katherine Marsh from Choir Noir (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Marillion). Randy Slaugh (Periphery, Architects, Devin Townsend) supported the band in programming and production, while Forrester Savell (Karnivool) took on the overall production. 'War Of Being' is the defining moment of TesseracT, an album that will be remembered as the beginning of a new era for this forward-thinking, dynamic band.
