Swedish heavy metal heroes Sabaton released their latest studio album on 19 July 2019. The five-pieceβs ninth LP, 'The Great War', was released in time to celebrate their 20th anniversary and is, as the name suggests, a concept album all about the history of the First World War. The band began the studio recording on the hundredth anniversary of the end of the war (11/11/1918) and then took three months' time to work on the songs in the Black Lounge Studios, collaborating with long-time producer Jonas Kjellgren. The album was mastered from Maor Appelbaum and the warlike artwork comes from the pen of Peter SallaΓ.
