Back then, many a music lover was a little sceptical when Arjen A. Lucassen, until that point known only as the guitarist of Vengeance, released his debut album 'The Final Experiment'. The scepticism quickly faded, however, because the record impressed both instrumentally and vocally – and no wonder, with guests like Lenny Wolf (Kingdom Come), Jan-Chris de Koeijer (Gorefest) and Barry Hay (Golden Earring), no wonder.
