Produced once again by Mark Mynett, the album builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, 'Unseen Planets, Deadly Spheres.' The opening salvos, 'Sutter Cane' and 'Do Not Disturb The Watchmaker,' are riff-laden fireworks - the former almost chaotic and featuring a short spoken-word part by Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride! Then 'Do Not Disturb The Watchmaker' kicks in with its meandering groove before leading into a thrashy chorus.

The album still showcases the massive riffs that DAMNATION'S HAMMER is known for, but 'Into The Silent Nebula' has turned out to be more adventurous than its predecessor.

The counterpart to the title track, simply called 'The Silent Nebula,' for example, is an atmospheric, bluesy instrumental piece; calm, yet still with a menacing character. It ends with a slow, melodic bassline while Sakis of Rotting Christ quotes from the album's title track.

This album features Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride), Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ), and Fenriz (Darkthrone) in a spoken role.
