Sol Draconi Septem is an Industrial/Melodic Black Metal band revolving around 3 artists with one common purpose: bring harmony to poetry and dreams inspired by Dan Simmonsβ science fiction masterpiece βThe Hyperion Cantosβ.
The stars shone in Muon, Tauon and Kaonβs eyes for a long time, and were eager to express themselves through their talent.
When the project emerged in 2018, Muon took the lead and wrote the melodies that would become the guideline of the trip through Simmonsβ universe.
Nine tracks later, strengthened by Tauonβs percussions and Kaonβs electronic and brass skills, the album was born.
In 2020, βHyperionβ Sol Draconi Septem entrusted Sven (known for his work in Belenos and Tan Kozh) with the bass duty to bring a much deeper atmosphere to βHyperionβ.
Sven also handles the mixing and mastering at Howling Cliff Studio.
