by Matthias Mineur (02/03) You may say about Cradle Of Filth whatever you want but you can't deny one thing: they are full of facets and burst for ideas. With their new album, "Damnation and a day", frontman Dani Filth and his companions again searched for ways to make their unique style even more colourful and diverse. They experiment with all unmistakable death metal attitudes as well as with a real classical orchestra. Filth provides his thoughts and messages of the album, and he doesn't end in dull blood/death/decay-paroles but uses his intellect for metal lyric so that a close listening is recommended. Since we all know well that Cradle Of Filth is one of the best live-bands of the genre, so we can be sure that they will have something special for us in store for the upcoming tour for "Damnation and a day".
