Almost sic years and exactly two longplayers (plus a limited birthday picture disc with exclusive material) after their debut, "Raped in their own blood", Vomitory are back with "Blood rapture" - just look at the album title - at the label that demonstrates its brotherhood with the Swedish legion already in their logo. No compromises to nobody, even in the golden era, Vomitory would have been one of the most uncompromising bands in the Death genre. Only in the rhythmic background you could find some joy, the rest is killing, killing, killing. Neither sensitive sounds nor progressive-like note-labyrinths. No matter what you try to do against it: "Blood rapture" is the brutal force that comes over you - "Nailed, quartered, consumed".
