'All Hope Is Gone' is the fourth official studio Album by the American metal band Slipknot and was released in August 2008. The Album was released in two editions and was produced by music producer Dave Fortmann and Slipknot. Among the results of their work are the singles 'Psychosocial' and 'Dead Memories'. The former was nominated for various internationally recognized music awards, including the MTV Video Music Award and the Grammy. Stylistically, it continues the musical path of its predecessor 'Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)' and varies between more metal-heavy tracks and calmer Rock ballads, which were received differently by critics. It reached number 1 on the charts in nine countries.
