The products available in the Alchemy Gothic Shop were designed and created by two Brits, Geoff Kayson and Trevor Phillipson. The two model makers, autodidacts and talented amateur artists founded a workshop which made tin soldiers in the Midlands in the year 1977.

Later on they added individual punk jewellery to their range. The pieces became ever more popular, leading the duo to enlarge their offering to include imaginative jewellery for the Gothic and metal scenes.
